Honor the Fallen Foundation (HTF) is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization dedicated to honoring the memory of American soldiers and government employees who have died while supporting the war on terrorism both abroad and in the U.S. The foundation also provides financial assistance to the families of those who have given their lives while defending our nation.

Over the years, HTF has developed strong relationships with many veterans all over the world. One of those veterans is Ed "Doc" Pepping 506th, a medic with the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Easy Company - a World War II unit whose story was made famous in the HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers." Pepping was awarded the Bronze Star for his bravery and valor under fire while attempting to rescue a "brother" on June 7th, 1944, one day after the D-Day invasion.

Attending the SHOT show 2010 as an honored guest of Source One Distributors, Mr. Pepping graciously signed books, posed for pictures and told stories for three days  at the Source One booth - for crowds of people, who in many cases lined up outside the convention center ball room just for a chance to say ‘thank you’. Once the official tally had been made, over $14000 was raised for the Honor of the Fallen Foundation. It was also at this time that Dalia Munoz was appointed Executive Director of HTF.

“The moment Honor the Fallen approached us with the idea, everyone at Source One was on board to make it happen,” said Source One CEO and Marine veteran Mark Llano. “It was a win-win situation for us; not only did we get to pay our respects to one of the most distinguished military generations of our time, we were also able to help raise awareness and support for future generations of Americans whose family members made the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. This is why we are here, these people are true patriots and we will do anything we can to support them.”
